Marea Gelato — Alaçatı
Lime-washed plaster, arched openings and pale timber — a boutique gelateria that gathers the slow rhythm of the Aegean around a single display case.

Drawing on the Mediterranean character of Alaçatı and Yalıkavak, Marea Gelato turns a boutique ice cream shop into a warm, natural and timeless spatial experience.
Lime-toned plaster surfaces, pale timber, natural stone texture and softly arched openings come together into an identity that is calm but not quiet. Olive trees, ceramic pieces and naturally textured furniture carry the light, refined atmosphere of the Aegean coast indoors.
The gelato case at the centre was treated as the focus of the design. Flowing corners, warm lighting and a plain display order keep the product in the foreground, while the indoor and outdoor seating give visitors somewhere they can stay a while.
Lit by daylight through the day, the space turns towards a more intimate atmosphere in the evening under warm, layered light. Marea Gelato was conceived not as a point of sale but as an inviting meeting place that brings together the slow rhythm of Aegean life, summer evenings and a boutique taste experience.
