Norma Interior.
An Istanbul-based interior architecture studio, working from concept to turnkey delivery across cafes and restaurants, offices, clinics and homes.

Norma Interior takes how a space will be used, which light it catches at which hour and how it makes the person inside it feel as the starting point of design. Service flow for a cafe, hygiene and privacy for a clinic, storage and circulation for a home — every project grows out of its own technical reality.
We hold a particular position on material: raw lime plaster, exposed concrete, natural timber, stone and metal. The way these materials age is not a flaw to us but part of the design. We prefer to work through proportion, light and texture rather than ostentatious detail.
Alongside projects in Istanbul and Antalya, the studio has delivered work in Dubai, Cologne and Greece. Working across geographies has given us an approach that respects local building culture and regulation without compromising its own language.
Approach
Function comes first
Aesthetics follow a properly resolved plan. No surface is discussed before service flow, circulation and storage are solved.
Material honesty
Real material over imitation. Concrete stays concrete, timber stays timber; the way it ages is part of the design.
Timelessness
We design spaces you cannot date five years later — working through proportion and light rather than trend.
One team, one delivery
When design and construction sit in the same team, nothing is lost between the drawing and the site.
