Open shelves around the television and dark base units bring several functions together on a single living-room wall. Three frames — the overall composition, the shelving, then the line of the cabinet fronts — describe both the spatial and the tactile effect of the piece.
The ratio of open shelf to closed storage keeps the wall visually light while still allowing everyday objects to disappear. The vertical fluting on the base units is a second layer that only reveals itself up close.
