Büyük Kulüp — Staff WC & Showers
A neutral, timeless service volume built for heavy daily use — grey surfaces against white fixed elements.
The staff WC, washbasin and shower areas of Büyük Kulüp in Kadıköy, Istanbul were reworked with a design approach suited to heavy daily use, durable and easy to maintain.
The guiding idea was to lift these service volumes out of the purely technical and give them an ordered, restrained and comfortable user experience. Grey-toned surfaces and white fixed elements established a clean, neutral and timeless interior language.
A linear counter system answering multi-user demand was paired with independent basin elements. The mirror and lighting arrangement was planned for high visibility and practicality in daily use.
Privacy, hygiene, ease of cleaning and resistance to heavy use led the WC cubicles, shower areas and urinal zones.
