VALEN Technology Headquarters

Office | Istanbul, Türkiye | 2025

A contemporary work culture built on brutalist concrete, geometric lighting choreography and biophilic touches.

VALEN Technology Headquarters — Istanbul, Türkiye (1)

Here the workplace was approached as a high-calibre office experience that combines the flexibility contemporary work culture demands with industrial refinement and a brutalist character. Functional zoning, the strong presence of raw concrete, geometric lighting choreography and the integration of greenery into the working areas formed the foundation of the design.

The overall character was shaped through exposed concrete wall surfaces, industrial black steel structures, glazed partitions, warm timber and custom furniture in beige tones. Linear and square bespoke pendants, integrated with the exposed mechanical services at ceiling level, gave the space a strong architectural order while emphasising its vertical volume and the boundaries of each working zone.

The sculptural reception desk lent the brutalist line a distinctive, dynamic identity. Executive and meeting rooms separated by glazed panels preserved spatial transparency and uninterrupted sightlines while providing the necessary acoustic comfort. In the open-plan and individual working areas, interior plants set into concrete planters softened the severity of the industrial language and created a biophilic, comfortable atmosphere.

The result is a prestigious office where brutalist and industrial textures are balanced by contemporary detailing — a space that supports deep focus and belongs to the culture of the city that surrounds it.
